VirtualLive is an event management and attendee engagement application that allows users to register for events, access event information, view schedules, receive event updates, connect with attendees where enabled, and use QR codes for event check-in and access.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

Depending on the event and features enabled by the event organizer, VirtualLive may collect or process the following information:

Event Information

We may process information related to your participation in an event, including registration status, event access, session participation, check-in information, and other event-specific information.

QR Codes and Check-In

VirtualLive may use QR codes to facilitate event registration, verification, check-in, access control, badge-related functionality, and other event services.

Where QR scanning is enabled, the App may request access to your device camera. Camera access is used for QR code scanning and related functionality and is not intended to continuously record or store camera footage.

Device and Technical Information

We may automatically receive certain technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Device and application identifiers where applicable
• IP address
• Crash and diagnostic information
• Technical logs and performance information

Notifications

If you allow notifications, VirtualLive may send event reminders, announcements, schedule updates, registration information, and other event-related notifications.

3. Event Organizers

The use of your information by an event organizer may also be governed by that organization's own privacy policy.

9. Camera Permission

VirtualLive may request access to your device camera when QR code scanning is required for event registration, verification, or check-in.

Camera access can be controlled through your device settings. If camera access is disabled, QR scanning functionality may not be available.

10. Notifications

VirtualLive may request permission to send push notifications. Notifications may include event announcements, reminders, schedule changes, and other relevant event information.

You can disable notifications through your device settings.

11. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

VirtualLive provides users with an in-app option to request deletion of their account and associated personal information. Users can access the account deletion option from the App's account or settings area and follow the instructions shown there.

How to Delete Your Account

To request deletion through the App, open VirtualLive, go to your account or settings section, select the account deletion option, and confirm the request.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account where reasonably possible and where required by applicable law.

This may include account and registration information, contact information, profile information, and other personal information associated with the account.

Certain information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or support legitimate event administration and record-keeping requirements. Where information is retained, it will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Deletion Requests Without Account Deletion

Where applicable, users may contact us to request deletion of specific personal information without deleting their entire account. We will review such requests in accordance with applicable law, contractual requirements, and the requirements of the relevant event.

Account deletion may affect access to event registrations, event history, networking features, tickets, QR-based access, and other services associated with the account.

12. Children's Privacy

VirtualLive is intended for general event participation and is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

13. International Data Processing

Depending on the services used to operate VirtualLive, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied to personal information processed across borders.
